3rd baby gift?
A friend of mine just had her 3rd baby (a 3rd boy), and I'm trying to decide what to get them as a baby present.  I wish I lived closer and could give them babysitting!  Kind of stuck on what would be baby-related but still useful for them.  Any thoughts from parents of more than one kiddo?  Or parents of just one, if you've got a good idea, too!  Thanks, everyone.

If they are fairly close in age as mine were then the best stuff really was just cute new clothes and keepsake type stuff.

I tend to make a homemade wipes batch in a personalized container for all baby showers. It's cute and useful. If they havent named the baby then just decorate it boyish. I should have directions on my profile as an older public entry. I'll find the link if you want.

Also a great way to go is get a gift for mom! She has all she needs for baby but how about for her sanity? :) A mom care kit is always a win.

I second the gift for mom, candles and nice bath and body care are always a win.

Or a keepsake of some kind like this lenox baby carriage http://www.lenox.com/cat/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod&&Ns=whatsnew_sort&N=0&No=25&rs2=1&Ntt=baby&pid=19960&kf=1 or personalized baby bootie http://www.lenox.com/cat/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod&&Ns=whatsnew_sort&N=0&No=75&rs2=1&Ntt=baby&pid=1697&kf=1 they also have several baby's first christmas ornaments that would be nice if they celebrate.

I really like giving babylegs/huggalugs as presents. Or maybe a baby carrier or something like that-- sleepingbaby.net has decently priced ring slings, and there's always the Moby. I also love browsing Etsy.com for newborn things... check out some of the newborn hats people make. I think cute little bear hats would make a great gift!
